To ensure a space of ease and safety, our journey delves into the energetic exchange of intimacy, learning to navigate desires and boundaries as an entry point. This is a fully clothed event, further emphasizing a pressure-free environment. Our focus is on the richness of authentic connections that can be found at the edges of platonic and flirtatious connections, honoring each individual's boundaries and wishes, we hope to create a space where everyone feels safe and respected.

While intimacy often conjures images of physical touch and sexual or romantic possibilities, the essence of true intimacy lies much deeper. Through this workshop, we invite you to unravel your definitions of intimacy, shedding layers to discover the myriad emotions that form the foundation of genuine connections.

Setting the Boundaries Clear:

Celebrating diverse connections, it's important to understand: There will be NO sexual acts, kissing, or erotic body-to-body touch.  Our goal is to unearth the myriad emotions and richness that surface even before such connections take shape.

Though vast and multilayered, our journey into intimacy will explore the depth that precedes the act of physical closeness - this might involve movement together or solo and platonic touch like hugs or hand-to-arm contact. Your consent and personal boundaries are of utmost importance and we will support you in expressing your full ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on how to move or include your body in the group.

The Space:

In a beautiful and relaxing venue in North London, we will gather and create a safe environment, to relax, move and be held in together. The venue is so special and offers a retreat like atmosphere with many spaces for you to chose from and a main room where the workshop will be held. 

About the Trainers:

Emma Buggy: Is a CNVC certification candidate who has been studying and working with compassionate communication skills since 2015. She works as a mediator with couples and families, facilitates workshops on conflict resolution, and building intimacy and supports people to meet one another with compassion and authenticity at the center. Emma has co-produced parts of the NVC Global Online Festivals during the pandemic. She facilitates safe spaces for building connections at festivals such as "Moving Connection" + "Connections with Intimacy"  and other NVC Summer Camps and spaces both online and in person in the UK. Emma holds weekly workshops and practice groups both online and in London. She works with couples, communities and individuals to support intimacy to flourish and flow between people. Her aim is to bring love and compassion into the center of all relationships, inviting us to connect and welcome our humanity and authenticity into our everyday lives.

Kimberley Hutchinson: Kimberley draws upon 10+ years experience of group facilitation and corporate training, more recently through guiding embodiment practices as a 'High Priestess' within sensual event spaces.  Her primary goal is to create safe and supportive environments for growth and as a spiritual life coach just starting out, she has a strong commitment to self-development and a genuine passion for assisting others.  Her purpose is to guide individuals on a transformative journey of self-exploration, igniting their inner power to align with their soul's highest calling and authenticity.  She is wholeheartedly excited to fuse the art of NVC with nourishing practices to explore a deeper awareness of intimacy and togetherness.

Cost:

A sliding scale of : £30-£50 = Please pay what you can for this evening, knowing that whatever you can offer is welcome. We are offering this scale so that more people are able to attend and we hope that you find an amount that feels comfortable and joyful for you to offer for the evening.

IF you are unsure here is a guide to support you:

£30 - cover the cost of the space, snacks and trainers transport to the space

£40 - Covers the above + time spent planning + advertising

£50 - Emma + Kimberley make some money to support themselves + towards future events

5 x low income spaces @ £20pp

The course will run with a minimum of 10 participants, if this number is not reached you will be refunded or the course will be postponed.

To facilitate this, we offer tickets categorized as "Female-ish", "Male-ish", and "Neutral". However, for our low-income ticket allocations, we've opted for a "Neutral" category to simplify the process and ensure accessibility for those who need it.
