About the course:
Do you find yourself worrying, feeling guilty and depressed or overwhelmed and frustrated with others who just don’t get you? Living with ourselves and with others is an art that takes cultivation and practice.
A compassionate and honest relationship with ourselves helps us to obtain balance and joy in our lives. And yet listening to, understanding and communicating our deeper needs in an authentic, compassionate way is something our current culture and society does not teach us.
On this weekend training we will concentrate on observing our own inner movement, understanding our emotions and connecting with the flow of life that brings us closer to really understand what it is that we want in our lives.
What will I learn?
The practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) offers simple but extremely powerful tools , to better understand ourselves and each other and to find solutions that work for everyone through focusing on the art or self connection and understanding the beauty of our values so that we can access our creativity and confidence when asking for and manifesting those attributes into our lives.
In this 1 day workshop we will explore:
- How to translate your thoughts into a language of needs from which you can relate to and understand with more clarity.
- What is important to you in relationships and life.
- Understanding why we do what we do so that we can make choices that support us to thrive and connect!
- How to cultivate a relationship of support and self care with yourself
- How to dive into your emotional landscape and begin to understand the language of your body's signals and sensations
- and much much more!
